The project “study and demonstration operation on Fuel cell bus” of Beijing Science and Technology Plan was set up on December, 2012. This project was led by Tsinghua University. Our company participated as the main unit commitment and carried the branch topic of “study on key technologies of hydrogen storage for fuel cell vehicle”.

The main content of the branch topic was to develop a composite hydrogen storage system with a high capacity hydrogen storage alloys. This system can effectively improve the hydrogen storage density to meet the need of fuel cell combining with the solid and high pressure gaseous hydrogen storage technology. The hydrogen storage alloys can further improve the hydrogen storage density to solve the key problem of hydrogen source for fuel cell electric vehicle. The developed products can also used for the field of fuel cells, hydrogen energy, which accorded with the key support of industrial development direction in Beijing.

The establishment of this project was the recognition of efforts and achievements of our company, which inspired us with confidence in research and development in the field of hydrogen energy. The project will further enhance the product technical level, optimize the product structure, improve brand reputation and strengthen the market competitiveness of our company. The project can provide a new solution for the hydrogen source of fuel battery, increase the application of fuel cells and fuel cell vehicles and promote energy-saving and emission-reduction, which played a good development role of the capital and even the national economy and society.
